Kathryn (Kat) Huang is a Thai/Taiwanese multi-disciplinary artist based in Manhattan, New York. With a passion for storytelling, whether it’s through movement, sound, or fashion. She has hands-on experience on all areas across the creative production spectrum — from conceptualisation to execution.

With a MA in Media Studies from the New School, she has interned and worked for various companies (L'Officiel Thailand, Atomix Recording Studio, Hudson Yards Loft) in a variety of creative and technical roles (audio engineer, photo retoucher, art director, film editor, copywriter etc).

Her joy lies in capturing artists engaged in their craft, particularly the dancers, musicians, and creatives within the vibrant communities she’s apart of.

She is currently working as a freelance creative director, photographer, videographer, stylist, and model. She has helped numerous artists refine their portfolios, expand on their artistic endeavours, and promote their brands.

You can most likely find her behind (or in front) of the camera, at a dance session, listening to / making music, shopping for vintage pieces, or complaining about how expensive film is nowadays.
