An ongoing film photography archive that explores and aims to preserve the beauty and love for a land that is constantly changing to keep up with the demands of overtourism.
Thailandβs natural beauty is timeless, yet every year I come home, I can see and feel it changing. The weight of this burden is not something a TV show or social media reel can capture nor understand. How does one grapple with the reality that the very forces that once (and still) sustain the land are also eroding it?
Despite this tension, I want to honor the beauty of the land and the locals that remain central to Thai identity and a source of Thai pride.
